What is a Retail Merchandiser?
Retail Merchandisers play a crucial role in optimizing the shopping experience for customers. They stock shelves, build displays, merchandise new products according to a plan-o-gram, place signage, and ensure products look their best. Most large retailers rely on third-party merchandising companies like The Reset Team to help with retail merchandising projects.
What’s the Dress Code?
As one of our retail merchandisers, you will wear a black TRT branded shirt, jeans or dark pants, and steel-toed shoes. In some instances, you may be required to wear a safety vest, hard hat, or other PPE (personal protective equipment).
What are the Hours?
Hours depend on the specific retail merchandising project, but can vary between 8 and 40 hours per week. Some merchandising projects have flexible hours, but most work takes place overnight while the retailers are closed (many shifts start at 9pm and end at 6am).
